What Watsonville Lucky Spa offers
Watsonville Lucky Spa is listed as a massage spa, with massage and spa as additional categories. The reviews that name a service refer to massage by the hour, and one reviewer says a 1 hour massage was listed at $45.
That price drew at least one reviewer, who describes being on a tight budget. Another reviewer describes a session with a female practitioner who asked for a tip. No other treatments, packages or products are named in the reviews.
What customers say about Watsonville Lucky Spa
Watsonville Lucky Spa has a Google rating of 2.4 from 5 reviews. All three review excerpts are critical, rated 1, 1 and 2 stars, and the 2.4 average means the remaining two ratings average 4 stars.
Smell and dampness come up most. One review from 3 years ago says a damp, moldy smell hit just inside the door and that still-wet stains on the floor were a second red flag. That reviewer had read earlier poor reviews and chose to visit anyway. A review from 5 years ago says the place smelled terrible, the towel and bed were damp, and the practitioner smelled of cigarettes.
The same 5 year old review describes a tipping dispute: after a $10 tip the practitioner asked for $20, then asked for $20 again after being given $15. The reviewer left $15 and walked out. A review from a year ago gives 2 stars and calls the place sketchy and gross, without further detail.

Yikes! I noticed on their website listing that a 1 hour massage is $45. I'm on a tight budget these days, so even though I read the few poor reviews I decided to gamble and go anyway, hoping things had improved since those reviews. Just inside the door the damp moldy smell hit me like a brick wall and the stains on the floor, still wet, was another big red flag. Those two things stopped me from even coming close to going forward with a massage. Then I ask about the relatively reasonable price...nope $60 not $45. I left quickly and that rank smell stuck with my clothes for at least another three hours. I'll end this review with another YIKES!!

Place smelled terrible. The towel and bed itself was damp. The lady smelled like cigarettes then at the end when I gave her a $10 tip she demanded $20 then I gave her $15 and she demanded $20 and I just left the $15 and walked out. Avoid this place at all costs.
